TMA Chicago/Midwest Chapter Annual Awards Program

DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JULY 10th!

On an annual basis, the TMA Chicago/Midwest Chapter hosts an awards program that invites members to be recognized and awarded for their outstanding work in the industry and/or within the Turnaround Management Association organization.  This is an opportunity for you and your company to receive area-wide recognition and publicity.  In addition to being honored by the TMA Chicago/Midwest Chapter at the Annual Executive Speakers Forum in November, your entry will be used in our public relations efforts.  In prior years, TMA award winners were featured in national and local media as well as at multiple TMA events.

The Chicago/Midwest Awards Committee is proud to share that our Annual Awards Program will utilize an online application portal in 2026. This platform was selected to increase efficiency in the submission experience by making the process more intuitive and user-friendly for all applicants. Within the portal, you can easily create an account, save your progress, upload materials, and submit nominations – all in one secure place.

2. Select your intended application category and click ‘go to check out’ **You may submit additional applications in a different category if desired

3. Click confirm. You will receive a notification your ‘transaction’ has been completed. Click ‘Continue’ to go to your application and begin entering information **Please note our awards submissions are FREE. There is no monetary transaction during the submission process

Corporate Awards

  • Turnaround of the Year (Large and Small)
  • Transaction of the Year (Large and Small)
  • Distressed Real Estate Turnaround/Transaction
  • Pro Bono Project of the Year

*The turnaround engagement must have been substantially completed between April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026*

Individual Awards 

  • Outstanding Service Award
  • CTP of the Year Award
  • Emerging Leader Award
  • Turnaround Legend Award 

DEI Award – Awarded to an individual or firm who demonstrated exceptional commitment and leadership to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the turnaround and restructuring industry during the period through March 31, 2025.

  • Anonymous entries for client privacy are permitted
  • Submissions made to TMA Global Awards may be resubmitted
